LAHORE – Lahore Zoo administration has decided to extend the timings from next month of February, offering night-time entertainment activities in order to attract more tourists and families.
A senior official told media that people will be able to visit the zoo after dark, starting next month.
Currently, the operational timings of the zoo are from 09:00 am till sunset and the zoo is open round the week.
The official said some sections, including the lion enclosures, Reptile House, fish aquarium and Hologram Zoo, will be kept open during night timings.
He revealed that the food court will be revamped while the zoo will be decorated with beautiful lights.
The administration has also planned to offer puppet shows during evening hours to children while live musical performances will be held on weekends.
Lahore Zoo New Timings
As per the initial reports, the Lahore Zoo will remain open until 9pm. However, the hours could be extended for weekends due to live musical performances and other activities.
Lahore Zoo Ticket Prices
The ticket price for Lahore Zoo will remain at Rs100 for both adults and children. However, visitors planning to experience the zoo during “night-zoo” sessions on weekends can expect higher ticket prices, as additional entertainment activities will be included during these special hours.
The zoo administration has announced that the exact ticket prices for night visits will be revealed in the coming days, once all the details about the enhanced activities are finalized.
