Lahore Woman Killed By Father With Wooden Stick In Another Honor Killing

LAHORE – Another shocking incident of honor killing has been reported from Kahna, Lahore where a father allegedly killed his 22-year-old daughter.

The suspect, identified as Aslam, has been arrested while a case has been regustered against him. The case was filed on complaint of the victim’s brother, Azmat Masih.

According to FIR, the suspect attacked his daughter with sticks out of suspicion, and she died before getting any medical help.

Police recovered murder weapon from suspect and shifted body to the mortuary for a postmortem examination.

SP Model Town Shehrbano Naqvi said anyone who takes the law into their own hands will face dire consequences. The authorities assured that a thorough investigation will be conducted, and the suspect will be held accountable under the law.

Honor killing is murder of a family member, usually woman or girl, by relatives who believe she has brought “shame” or “dishonor” to the family. This perceived dishonor can arise from refusing an arranged marriage, seeking a divorce, having a relationship disapproved by the family, or even being a victim of sexual assault.
