LAHORE – Dry weather is expected to continue in Lahore and most districts of Punjab on Monday night and for the next two days, with a gradual decrease in mercury levels.
According to the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD), continental air prevails over most parts of Pakistan. Under these conditions, dry weather is expected to continue in Lahore and most districts of Punjab on Monday night and for the next two days.
Cold weather will prevail in Murree and Galiyat. Smog with shallow fog in patches may develop over a few plain areas of Punjab. Persistent dryness and clear sky will cause a gradual decrease in the mercury levels.
Lahore’s minimum temperatures will likely remain between 10°C and 12°C on Tuesday and Wednesday and between 11°C and 13°C on Thursday.
Meanwhile, dry weather prevailed in Lahore and most districts of Punjab during the last 24 hours. Cold weather prevailed in Murree, Galiyat and the upper districts. However, smog prevailed over a few plain areas of Punjab.
Murree remained the coldest place in Punjab, where the minimum temperature was recorded at 03°C. Relative humidity in the evening was recorded at 52 per cent.
In Lahore, the minimum temperature was recorded at 11°C. Relative humidity in the evening was recorded at 52 per cent.
