Lahore police resolves over 15,000 complaints in 2023

The Complaint Cell of Lahore Police processed a total of 16,005 applications, successfully disposing of 15,543 cases, while 462 applications are still under review in the year 2023. Additionally, 32 C29 and 302 C299 applications received from the Chief Minister’s House portal have been successfully addressed.

Capital City Police Officer Bilal SiddiqueKamiana reported that out of 6,482 applicants who visited the CCPO office seeking resolution, 6,345 applications have been processed, with 137 cases still in progress. Among the 6,806 applications received by post, 6,583 have been resolved, and 223 are currently being addressed. From the platform of overseas Pakistanis, 58 out of 65 applications have been disposed of, showcasing the commitment of Lahore Police to addressing the concerns of citizens across borders.

CCPO Bilal SiddiqueKamiana highlighted that out of the 2,303 requests received through the helpline, 1,787 have been resolved, with 88 cases still in progress. On the 1242 helpline, 14 out of 15 requests have been successfully addressed, while one is currently under review. Encouraging citizens to report complaints without hesitation, Lahore Police Chief emphasized the importance of registering concerns on the helpline 1242 for swift legal action. Kamiana directed staff and in-charges to maintain constant communication with complainants until justice is served.
