The Lahore Arts Council will record folk songs in regional languages including Kashmir, Gilgit-Baltistan, KPK and Balochistan. All our regional cultural values are in common, which connect each other’s hearts.
Lahore Arts Council Executive Director Saman Rai stated while greeting people of Sindh on the occasion of Sindh Culture Day. Saman Rai expressed her best wishes and said that Sindhi culture is one of the great and ancient cultures of the world. She said that Al-Hamra has recorded famous singer Allan Faqir’s folk song “Hojmalo”, which has been dedicated to Sindhi people and all Pakistanis as gift. She said that Al-Hamra will record folk songs in regional languages across the country including Kashmir, Gilgit-Baltistan, KPK and Balochistan. Al-Hamra’s recorded folk song “Ho Jamalo” has been received at every level. This journey of success will continue in the future as well. It should be noted that the celebrations of Sindh Culture Day at Al-Hamra Arts Council have been going on since December 1. Among them, the performances of teachers and students of Al-Hamra Academy of Performing Arts are also commendable. In addition, the Al-Hamra Arts Council gives equal importance to all regional cultural colors and creates opportunities for expression of value.
This makes the younger generation aware of the cultural services of their forefathers and fosters an atmosphere of harmony and solidarity in the country.
