KW&SC initiates rain emergency on Mayor’s directive

Following Mayor Karachi Barrister Murtaza Wahab’s instructions, the Karachi Water and Sewerage Corporation (KW&SC) has activated a rain emergency protocol. Chief Operating Officer (COO) Engineer Asadullah Khan announced that all KW&SC staff are on high alert in anticipation of the impending rains.

As per directives from the Chief Minister of Sindh and the Mayor of Karachi, KW&SC has deployed 30 suction machines to key highways and will dispatch additional machinery to low-lying areas. Khan assured that KW&SC vehicles will remain operational until rainwater drainage is complete.
