KU holds open house

University of Karachi hosted an Open House program for prospective students wishing to enroll in various departments of the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences, as well as the Faculty of Education. The event took place on Monday at the Chinese Teachers’ Memorial Auditorium, with sessions scheduled to provide detailed information about courses and entrance exams. The Open House for the Department of Criminology, International Relations, and Mass Communication was held from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM, followed by a session for the Education, Teacher Education, and Special Education departments from 11:45 AM to 1:00 PM. Attendees, including prospective candidates and their parents, received comprehensive insights into the academic offerings and admission testing processes for each department. Notable participants included Professor Dr. Shaista Tabassum, Dean of the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences, Professor Dr. Saima Akhtar, In-charge of the Directorate of Admissions, Dr. Imran Ahmed Siddiqui, Director of the Evening Program, and members of the Karachi University Assessment and Testing Service, including Dr. Aneela Ambar Malik, Dr. Nosheen Raza, and Dr. Ghazal Khawaja, along with heads and faculty members from the Departments of Criminology, International Relations, Mass Communication, Education, Teacher Education, and Special Education.
