Governor Sindh Mohammad Kamran Khan Tessori, acting as the chancellor of the University of Karachi, bestowed an honorary Doctorate in Philosophy (PhD) upon the Iranian president SeyyedEbrahimRaisi in recognition of his significant contributions to strengthening bilateral relations. Addressing the audience, Governor Tessori expressed the university’s pride in conferring this honor upon the Iranian president, emphasizing the importance of fostering strong ties among Muslim nations.
He reiterated his commitment to enhancing Pakistan-Iran relations and invited Iranian business leaders to explore investment opportunities in Pakistan, highlighting the country’s favorable and business-friendly environment. Governor Tessori encouraged Iranian investors to participate in projects under the Special Investment Facilitation Council (SIFC), extending a warm welcome to their collaboration.
