KSA assures full support in rehabilitation of flood victims

Saudi Arabia has assured the Sindh government its full support in rehabilitation of flood affectees in the province.

The assurance was given by Saudi Arabia’s Ambassador to Pakistan Nawaf bin Said Al-Malki in a meeting with Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Shah in Karachi on Thursday.

Syed Murad Ali Shah informed the visiting Ambassador that his government wants to construct homes with two rooms, a corridor, kitchen and washroom for affectees and said that revival of agriculture and irrigation sector is a big challenge.

Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Shah expressed the determination that with the help of donors’ conference the promise of rehabilitation of affectees will be fulfilled. The Saudi Ambassador congratulated Sindh Chief Minister for holding successful donors conference and assured that Saudi Arabia will cooperate with the Sindh government in construction of homes for flood affectees.
