The directorate of sports and culture Khyber Pakhunkhwa has launched talent hunt program 2020 for under 16 talented players of various districts, the selected under 16 players of various sports would be trained and polished to further boost their skills and talent.
Football, volley ball, table tennis and badminton trials held at the subdivision Jamrud and the players who showed excellent performance were selected for the mentioned talent sports program.
Absar Ali, international table tennis player and senior coach, Nadeem and Fazal Rahman, the senior international badminton players and coaches took and supervised the table tennis and badminton trials.
Talking media, Nadeem, Coach and Rahid Gul Mulagori, the district sports officer said that these selected players would be further trained to enhance their skills and abilities in their respective games.
The government of Khyber Pakhunkhwa and directorate of Sports and culture KP want to facilitate and train the young players of the region. The officials said.
Camp would be organized for these talented players soon where proper physical and technical training would be provided to them. The officials stated.
The players of district Khyber applauded the Khyber Pakhunkhwa government and directorate of Sports and culture KP for launching the talent hunt program 2020 and selecting merged districts players in this mega talent program.
Meanwhile, talking media, Akhtar Rasool Shinwari, secretary badminton association district Khyber, the table tennis players Junaid shinwari, Muddasir and Israr Afridi demanded the director general of sports and culture Khyber Pakhunkhwa to construct a gymanasium in Landikotal and Jamrud.
The players said that due to the unavailability of indoor sports facility in Landikotal, the players of table tennis and badminton were facing difficulties and it was feared that their talent will be wasted.
