KP moving towards digital transformation: Atif

Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Minister for Science Technology and Information Technology (ST&IT), Sports and Youth Affairs Atif Khan was called on by a representative delegation of Asian Development Bank (ADB) led by Chief Thematic Officer Ziaohong Yang. Secretary ST&IT other relevant officials were also present on the occasion. Provincial minister apprised ADB delegation about ongoing and proposed IT related projects in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, saying that provincial government is digitizing departmental administrative affairs and public service delivery, for which ST&IT team is working day in day out.

Atif Khan further said that KP is moving towards digital transformation and key IT projects including paperless governance, citizen facilitation centers, digital skills and special technology zones have been launched to create employment opportunities for skilled youth. He said that efforts being made for digitization of land record through which public would be able to conveniently get required information on a single click.
