A special clean-up drive has been launched across the province under the auspices of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Local Government Department here on Sunday.
In this regard, instructions have been issued by the Provincial Minister for Local Government and Secretary Local Government to TMOs and Assistant Directors in all Districts and Tehsils, including the newly integrated areas.
In addition to routine cleaning, the government would also run special hygiene campaigns so that piles of dirt are not seen in the bazaars, streetcars and bus stands and the garbage is disposed of in a timely manner.
