KP leads launch of Pakistan’s fourth DWCP

The inaugural workshop of the fourth Decent Work Country Programme (DWCP) took place today in Peshawar, where representatives from various government bodies, labor institutions, and international organizations gathered to deliberate on the progress against outputs and indicators for the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province.

Geir T. Tonstol, Country Director of the ILO for Pakistan, addressed the workshop via video link. He commended the proactive role of the labor and other departments of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, highlighting the political leadership’s commitment to such initiatives. Tonstol emphasized the encouraging progress made by Khyber Pakhtunkhwa in leading the first workshop of the fourth DWCP.
