KMC, JK investments sign MoU for CSR initiatives

The Karachi Municipal Corporation (KMC) and JK Investments have signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to collaborate on corporate social responsibility (CSR) activities in Karachi, aiming to improve road safety and reduce accidents in the city. The MoU was signed at the KMC Head Office Mayor’s Secretariat in the presence of Mayor Karachi MurtazaWahab and Chairman JK Investments Engineer Jahanzeb Khan.

JK Investments will participate in various CSR activities in Karachi, starting with the provision of cat eyes to enhance road safety and reduce accidents.

The agreement aligns with the vision of corporate social responsibilities and aims to benefit the community. The partnership is expected to contribute to improving the quality of life in Karachi through sustainable CSR initiatives. While speaking on the occasion, Barrister MurtazaWahab said that the business community should also come forward by participating while appreciating the efforts of Engineer Jahanzeb Khan. He expressed his gratitude to JK Investments and hoped that this cooperation will continue for the betterment of Karachi. In his speech, Engineer Jahanzeb Khan appreciated the vision of Mayor Karachi and said that he stands by his side in the mission of making Karachi a city of lights again. This collaboration will continue to expand and include more people from the business community, he added.   After the ceremony, Engineer Jahanzeb Khan symbolically presented a set of cat’s eyes to Barrister MurtazaWahab. Later, the first batch of Cat Eyes was handed over to KMC.
