KMC cancels allotment of Hawke’s Bay huts

The Karachi Metropolitan Corporation has cancelled the allotment orders of all the huts located on Hawke’s Bay. Immediate legal action should be taken against the allotteesnot paying the annual rent, saidCommissioner and Administrator Karachi IftikharShallwani KMC has 254 huts on Hawke’s Bay which were allotted for three years, said Shallwani and ordered that theLand department should take possession of all huts immediately. He said all the huts on Hawke’s Bay should be auctioned according to the current market value. Auctioning huts at current market value will increase KMC’s revenue. The KMC spokesman has said that he Land Department has immediately issued notices to all allottees.
