LAHORE – The chief executive officer (CEO) of KIPS Education System, Abid Wazir Khan, was allegedly abducted from the Johar Town area of Lahore.
A First Information Report (FIR) has been registered following a complaint filed by his brother, Tahir Wazir Khan, who is the director of finance at the KIPS corporate office, a social media user claimed in a post.
The user shared the FIR copy on X (formerly Twitter).
According to Tahir, Abid Khan left his office at 6:00 pm on January 1, driving his car. During his journey, he made a phone call to a staff member.
While on the call, the staffer reportedly heard a disturbance – someone knocking on the car window and shouting, “You hit my car.”
The call then abruptly dropped, and Abid Khan’s phone switched off shortly thereafter. Tahir Khan has expressed concerns that his brother may have been abducted by unknown assailants.
In his complaint, Tahir urged the authorities to act swiftly, stressing that his brother’s life could be in imminent danger.
The police are now investigating the case and have launched efforts to trace the whereabouts of Abid Wazir Khan.
KIPS Education System has not shared any official statement in this regard.
