Srinagar
In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, the Jammu and Kashmir Democratic Political Movement (DPM) and the Jammu and Kashmir Employees Movement (JKEM) have strongly condemned the killing of innocent Kashmiri youth by Indian troops in the territory.
The DPM Chairman, Khawaja Firdous in a statement issued in Srinagar said that India should know that by using its military might it could not prevent the people of Kashmir from continuing their just struggle for right to self-determination.
He reiterated the Kashmiris’ pledge to continue freedom movement till it reached its logical conclusion.
He said, unless the Kashmir dispute is resolved in accordance with the UN resolutions and the aspirations of the Kashmiri people, the dream of lasting peace and stability in South Asia can never be realized.
Khawaja Firdous urged the United Nations and the international community to take note of the grave human rights violations by Indian forces in the occupied territory and play role in settling the Kashmir dispute.
He paid rich tributes to two Kashmiri youth, who were recently martyred in Islamabad and Srinagar areas by Indian troops.
