Kidwai becomes first Pakistani to serve as Rotary International Director

Muhammad Faiz Kidwai, chairman of CG global Pvt Ltd, a leading architecture, engineering, real estate development and hospitality conglomerate, will serve as the first Rotary International Director from Pakistan.

Currently a member of Rotary Club of Karachi Karsaz, Faiz will represent nearly 800 clubs with up to 16,000 Rotary members across Pakistan, Indonesia, and Bangladash as part of a 17-member board that supports and guides rotary’s 36,000 clubs worldwide.

“It is an honor and privilege to be part of an organization that is devoted to the betterment of every human,” Muhammad Faiz Kidwai said.

“The heart of Rotary is our clubs. I am committed to supporting them as they promote health, peace and prosperity in communities across the globe,”

During his service of more than 30 years as Rotary member, Muhammad Faiz Kidwai has helped raise over USD 50 million to bring long-term solutions to Pakistan’s most persistent humanitarian challenges, and has actively participated in rotary’s top philanthropic goal of ending polio worldwide.

A chair of Rotary’s Pakistan flooding recovery fund committee, Faiz is supporting a holistic economic and community recovery program for 150 families impacted by floods.

He also initiated a program that provided 2,000 life-changing congenital heart surgeries for children in Pakistan.
