Kidnapping attempt foiled


A police head constable with the help of lawyers foiled a kidnapping attempt and over powered the accused who tried to kidnap a female lawyer at gun point from the jurisdiction of Jand Kutchery.

Police on the complaint of the female lawyer have registered an FIR against the accused. DPO Attock Rana Shoaib Mahmood has lauded the professionalism of the head constable Zaheer Ahmad. Advocate Badr u Nisa told police that she was married to Syed Bakhtawar Ali Shah Bukhari r/o village Boota almost one and half year ago.

She said that later she developed some differences and now she was living with her parents in Mohala Ghandiyan Langar. She told police that on 8/4/2022 Syed Bakhtawar Shah divorced her. She further told police that now she was practicing law and was Woking with Advocate Sarwar Khattak. On 28/4/2022 she along with Advocate Sarwar and clerk Abid was present in the chamber when her ex husband Syed Bakhtawar Shah armed with pistol entered the chamber, held her from her wrist and forcefully took her to his car and made her sit in the car and also fired a bullet at advocate Sarwar but he remained unhurt.

Advocate Ibrar Khan, Advocate Farrukh Sayyar, Head Constable Zaheer Ahmad and others came and rescued her and over powered the accused. Police on the complaint of Advocate Badr u Nisa have registered an FIR against the accused and sent him behind the bars.
