SHER GONDAL MANDI BAHAUDDIN DC Mahtab Waseem Azhar held Khuli Kachehri here at District Complex to address public grievances. Besides representatives of the relevant departments including DPO Nasir Sial, MNA Haji Imtiaz was also present on this occasion. Aggrieved citizens presented their complaints in writing. DC considered the complaints and listened to the complainants as well before directing the concerned officers to redress them. Talking to the participants he said conduct of Khuli Kachehries on directions of Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar was playing a positive role to redress grievances of the citizens to a large extent. DPO also listened to the complainants relating to police and ordered the concerned SHOs to take action and provide relief to the grieved parties on merit. He directed his subordinates for ensuring transparency in investigations and their dealing with public. No one should be falsely implicated in criminal cases, he warned. Complaints received mostly were against police, land revenue field staff, Jinnah Public School & College and traffic police. Addressing the Kachehry, MNA Haji Imtiaz Ch said the government was working hard to improve governance, bring economic stability and provide jobs to the youth. Funds were being released for development schemes of public interest approved for each constituency of Punjab. Efforts continue to control and bring prices of essential commodities within the reach of the poor. He said days are not far off when the difficult time would be over and PTI government would fulfill all promises made during election campaign.
