Khidmat Apki Dehleez Par underway in full swing

Sheikhupura Deputy Commissioner Muhammad Asghar Joyia on Wednesday said that activities under “Khidmat Apki Dehleez Par” programme have been intensified to clean and beautify government buildings as well as parks, intersections and green belts in all areas of the district.

“Horticultural development is of great importance and for the purpose, local government and other departments in Sheikhupura district have taken special measures to beautify the City”, Deputy Commissioner Muhammad Asghar Joyia informed while briefing media here on Wednesday.

The DC said that the Municipal Committees and Tehsil Councils have also continued their activities as per schedule to enhance environmental beauty by cleaning and renovating the parks and greenbelts in urban areas of Sheikhupura.

He underscored that as plantation play vital role in the maintaining environment, therefore special attention is being paid to the renovation and beautification of Parks, squares and greenbelts, adding that plantation is also being carried out combat the impact of climate change.

On the occasion Assistant Commissioner Sharqpur Maheen Fatima was also present.

The deputy commissioner said that the district administration is monitoring the activities being conducted under Khidmat Apki Dehleez Par to ensure that there is no delay in the resolution of people’s problems and all targets are achieved well in time.
