Former prime minister and PML-N senior leader, Shahid Khaqan Abbasi said on Saturday that in case PML-N forms government after success of no-confidence motion then Shehbaz Sharif would be their prime minister.

He claimed that PML-N has won the sympathies of 20 parliamentarians who belonged to treasury benches. He was confident that these 20 MPs at the time of no-confidence move would support their motion.

He expressed these views while talking to media in Lahore on Saturday. He said that the opposition had invited all government allies including the PML-Q to decide whether they wanted to support the government or side with people.

Abbasi took offence to the abusive language being used by Prime Minister Khan saying it did not comport a premier to use such language.

On the other hand, PML-N Punjab President Rana Sanaullah termed the ‘reconciliation’ statement of Interior Minister Sheikh Rashid manifestation of his edginess.

In a harsh language, dubbing Sh Rashid as ‘Pindi’s devil’ he uttered the proverb ‘beads about the neck and devil in heart’ for him.

“After an attack on parliament, assault on parliament lodges and then kidnapping of MNAs, the interior minister’s statement about reconciliation reveals his uneasiness,” Rana Sana said.

He further mocked that both ‘boss’ and ‘peon’ (referring to prime minister and the interior minister) were saying something foolish after the submission of no-trust motion to the assembly. Soon the nation will get rid of them, he added.

Meanwhile, after having a meeting with PML-N ailing chief Mian Muhammad Nawaz Sharif in connection with the no-confidence motion against Prime Minister Imran Khan in London, Abdul Aleem Khan came back on Friday late night.

After reaching home, Aleem Khan held an important meeting with the Jahangir Tareen Group in Lahore before leaving for Islamabad and decided not to back out from their stance of removal of Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar.
