Khansa Mujahid: Libyan influencer murdered in broad day light

Khansa Mujahid Libyan Influencer Murdered In Broad Day Light

TRIPOLI – A horrifying daylight attack sent tremors through Libya’s capital after unknown armed men unleashed barrage of bullets at a car in the busy Al-Sarraj district of Tripoli.

Reports shared by international media said Khansa Mujahid, Libya’s most popular social media influencers and a well-known businesswoman, died while her car was riddled with bullets as gunmen opened indiscriminate, relentless fire.

In a desperate attempt to save her life, Khansa reportedly jumped out of car and tried to run, but the attackers showed zero mercy. They chased after her and fired directly at her, striking her at close range.

The killers only fled after making sure that the famous vlogger lay dead on the ground, leaving behind a scene of terror and bloodshed. Police say the assailants remain at large, and so far no trace of them has been found.

Chilling clips circulating on social media show Khansa lying face-down on road, motionless and covered in blood, while her vehicle stands nearby with shattered windows marked by multiple bullet impacts.

Police have collected bullet casings from the scene and sent them for forensic examination as part of a rapidly intensifying investigation.

Khansa Mujahid had massive following, especially among Libyan women, due to her fashion and beauty-parlor vlogs. She also owned a beauty salon and a women’s clothing outlet, making her a prominent figure in the lifestyle community. She was the wife of Muadh Al-Manfoukh, a notable leader of the Zawiya political party and a former member of the Political Dialogue Committee.

Authorities revealed that the possibility of a politically motivated assassination is now a central part of the investigation. Adding more shock to tragedy, human rights activists claim that Khansa may not have been the intended target at all.
