K-Electric (KE) announces no significant change in loadshed for its service territory, with 71 percent of the network continuing to receive uninterrupted power supply. The remaining 29 percent experiences loadshedding in proportion to the loss profile, with a maximum duration of 10 hours a day. KE emphasizes its commitment to dependable power supply through infrastructure investment and efforts to remove illegal connections.

It urges energy conservation and collaboration against electricity theft. KE’s quarterly review shows 71 percent of the network still enjoys uninterrupted power supply, while the remaining 29% experiences loadshedding based on loss profile assessment. Company awaits government guidelines for Ramadan and pledges support accordingly. KE has invested substantially in infrastructure and conducted over 20,000 illegal hooks removal drives, eliminating over 200,000 kgof illegal wires.

It collaborates with the government and law enforcement against electricity theft, underscoring the unsustainability of “free electricity” in low-payment areas. Residents are encouraged to conserve energy and limit consumption to 200 units per month to reduce costs and improve power supply in high-loss regions.
