K-Electric teams regularly conducts maintenance activities for its infrastructure to ensure uninterrupted power supply to Karachi. Recently, activity was carried out on the 220KV transmission line in Bin Qasim area with the aim of supplying reliable and sustainable electricity.
The maintenance work was carried out to reduce the frequency of tripping on the high-tension lines (RTV) which helped in preventing tripping even in damp and rainy conditions. It is pertinent to mention here that KE has scheduled tasks to keep servicing of EHT, HT and LT equipment during which the particular area consumers are informed temporary interruption of supply for the maintenance works.
