Governor Sindh Imran Ismail has said that the present government is continuing its work under the vision of providing immediate justice to the people and the government is ensuring all possible steps to address the problems of the legal community.
He expressed these views during a meeting with a delegation of Karachi Bar Association at Governor House led by its President Muhammad Naeem Qureshi.
The Governor Sindh said that the government was taking steps on priority basis to form a welfare state and bring justice in the society to the doorsteps of the people.
He said that there was a need for the legal community to work with the government to develop a mechanism that would help the common man to get justice at his doorstep.
He added that the biggest responsibility lies with the government as well as the lawyers to embarrass the dream of good governance and rule of law.
Governor Sindh said that the legal community has an unforgettable role in achieving the rule of law and supremacy of law in the country.
