President KATI Sheikh Umer Rehan applauded the role of law enforcement agencies and paid tribute to the Jawans of Rapid Response Force of Sindh Police who foiled the terror attack on the Pakistan Stock Exchange.
He said that the role of security forces in controlling and eradicating terrorism from the country was commendable. He noted that attack on the PSX was a vicious attempt to destroy Pakistan’s emerging image as a stable country and developing economy in the world, “RFF not only foiled the terror attack, but also saved us from the unthinkable consequence of this cowardly attemp” he added. Sheikh Umer Rehan also presented a cash reward as an acknowledgment to both courageous RFF personnel who played pivotal role to foil the attack.
DIG RFF Zia Baloch and other officers were also present on the occasion. Sheikh Umer Rehan further said that the entire nation is proud of our armed forces, Rangers, Police and other law enforcement agencies for protecting the beloved homeland.
Meanwhile, Pakistan Rangers Sindh Director General Major General Omar Ahmed Bukhari on Friday visited Kharadar and Darakhshan Police Stations. The DG Rangers was received by Karachi Police Chief Ghulam Nabi Memon and Deputy Inspector General of Police – South Zone Javed Akbar Riaz, Senior Superintendent of Police – South Shiraz Nazir and SP Clifton Imran Mirza, said a press release.
