Prime Minister’s Adviser on Kashmir Affairs and Gilgit-Baltistan Qamar Zaman Kaira, paying glowing tributes to the Kashmiris martyred on July 13, 1931, has said that the martyrs have set an eternal example of faith and determination by completing the Azaan in front of the brutal soldiers of the Dogra Maharaja.

Qamar Zaman Kaira in a statement issued in Islamabad said this historical event of Kashmir laid the strong foundation for the freedom struggle of Kashmir which continues today. He said Kashmiri youth are firmly holding the knowledge of freedom of Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir as thousands of youth like Burhan Muzaffar Wani Shaheed are determined for their right to self-determination.

The Advisor said Indian oppression and tyranny cannot defeat the Kashmiris’ spirit of freedom in any way.—INP
