A Kashmiri student who is currently studying in Madhya Pradesh state of India has been arrested by police on the ridiculous charge of posting “objec-tionable” status on Whatsapp on third anniversary of Pulwama attack.
According to Kashmir Media Service, police said that Tufail Maqbool, a student of B.com Ist year at Swami Vivekanand Govt college Neemuch, Madhya Pradesh, had posted “objectionable” video as his whatsapp status regarding Lethpora attack.
An FIR has been registered on a complaint and further investigation has been taken up against the student. The complaint was filed on behalf of a local BJP youth leader. The student is under police cus-tody.—INP
