On the joyous occasion of the National Day of the Swiss Confederation, I extend my heartfelt congratulations and warmest wishes to the Federal Council, the Government, and the people of Switzerland. Swiss National Day commemorates the founding of the Swiss Confederation and reflects the nation’s enduring values of freedom, democracy, unity, neutrality, and peaceful coexistence. These principles have earned Switzerland worldwide respect and have significantly contributed to international peace, humanitarian efforts, innovation, and sustainable development. As Switzerland celebrates this historic occasion, I join in recognizing the remarkable achievements of the Swiss nation and its invaluable contributions to global diplomacy, humanitarian assistance, scientific advancement, and international cooperation. I also take this opportunity to acknowledge the longstanding friendship and cordial relations between Switzerland and Pakistan. I sincerely hope that the ties between our two countries will continue to grow stronger through enhanced cooperation, mutual respect, and our shared commitment to peace, prosperity, and sustainable development.
