People in Pakistan’s financial capital Karachi are likely to witness cold wave that would grip the city as a result of the new westerly wave.
Karachiites are going to experience chilly weather in the metropolis with the temperature expected to drop, the met office said in recent weather advisory.
According to the synoptic situation, continental air is prevailing over most parts of the country, and a shallow westerly wave is likely to affect several parts.
In port city, the temperature remains 10-22 degrees Celsius and expected to drop at night. Humidity was recorded at around 30 percent in the metropolis.
PMD said mainly cold and dry weather is expected in most parts of the country, while very cold and dry in upper parts. Fog/smog is likely to persist in upper Sindh, plain areas of Punjab and Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa.
