Karachi water being stolen from Keenjhar: Naqvi

Water is being stolen from Lake Keenjhar while the poor people of Karachi are carrying water cans. Leader of Opposition in Sindh Assembly Firdous Shamim Naqvi told media while participating in a PTI protest held outside the MD Water Board office on Tuesday. He said said crops are being grown in Thatta with Karachi water, adding no water meters have been installed anywhere in Karachi. Meters for industrial consumers can be installed while not for domestic consumers. Naqvi vehemently said that Bilawal Bhutto Zardari says he will make Gilgit like Sindh and added God forbid Gilgit becomes Sindh. For 12 years, the incompetent PPP government has been destroying Sindh. The game of musical chairs is being played on the chair of MD Water Board “We don’t want to spread linguistics. Karachi belongs to all Pakistanis, but linguistic appointments are being made in the Water Board.” He questioned what else can a government that cannot provide water to its citizens give to the people?
