KARACHI – The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has predicted more rain-wind/thunderstorms in Karachi, Hyderabad and parts of Sindh on Sunday evening/night.
As per the synoptic situation, a strong westerly wave prevails over most parts of Pakistan. Moisture from the Arabian Sea is also penetrating southern parts of the country.
Under these conditions, rain-wind/thunderstorms are likely in Dadu, Jamshoro, Larkana, Sukkur, Jacobabad, Shaheed Benazirabad, Padidan, Naushero Feroze and Kashmore on Sunday evening/night. Light rain-wind/thunderstorms are also expected in Karachi, Thatta, Badin, Hyderabad Mirpur Khas and Umerkot. On Monday and Tuesday, partly cloudy and dry weather is expected in most districts of the province.
Karachi’s maximum temperatures will likely remain between 31-33 degrees Celsius on Monday and 33-35 C on Tuesday.
Hyderabad’s maximum temperatures will likely remain between 35-37 C on Monday and 37-39 C on Tuesday.
Meanwhile, partly cloudy weather prevailed in most districts of Sindh during the last 24 hours. However, rain occurred in parts of the province.

Mithi remained the hottest place in the province where the maximum temperature reached 40 C. Relative humidity during the morning was recorded at 65 per cent.
In Karachi, maximum temperature was recorded at 33 C. Relative humidity during the morning was recorded at 80 per cent.
In Hyderabad, maximum temperature was recorded at 37 C. Relative humidity during the morning was recorded at 68 per cent.
