Karachi expects heavy monsoon rains, urban flooding risk looms

Under a new monsoon system, heavy rainfall is expected across Karachi and the rest of Sindh. Chief Meteorologist SardarSarfraz has stated that this system will impact the entire Sindh region, with heavy downpours forecasted for Karachi on August 27 and 28. Due to the intensity of the rain, there is also a risk of urban flooding in the city. The low-pressure system causing this rain has formed near West Bengal.
