The Met Office has forecasted that Karachi will experience rain and thunderstorms on July 29 and 30. This weather pattern is due to a strong monsoon system entering Sindh on the night of July 28. The National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) has issued a caution for heavy rainfall across the country from July 28 to 31.
Monsoon currents from the Arabian Sea are expected to enter the upper parts of the country today, leading to significant rainfall during this period. Some areas of Karachi are predicted to receive heavy downpours, which could lead to flash floods. Other districts in Sindh are also likely to experience substantial rainfall due to the incoming weather system.
