Sardar Abdul Rahim, Secretary General Pakistan Muslim League Functional (PML-F) and the Secretary of Information for the Grand Democratic Alliance (GDA) has said that the explosion near Karachi Airport has been labeled a significant failure of both the federal and provincial governments. Sardar Rahim questioned the competence of a government that cannot ensure the safety of its citizens and foreign guests, emphasizing the alarming rise in street crime and lawlessness.
Rahim expressed his frustration over the government’s inability to control rampant crime, stating that despite the misappropriation of billions of dollars allocated for peace and security, the lives and properties of ordinary citizens remain at risk. He condemned the deaths of Chinese nationals in the attack and expressed his outrage over the casualties among civilians. He demanded a high-level investigation into the incident and called for the perpetrators to be brought to justice.
Additionally, he urged the government to provide medical treatment for the injured at state expense. In his statement, Sardar Abdul Rahim further highlighted that enemies of the country are also enemies of its progress and prosperity, accusing them of attempting to sabotage both domestic and foreign projects. He lamented the government’s failure to prevent such malevolent actions, pointing out that the deteriorating security situation in the country is becoming increasingly alarming. He noted the resurgence of terrorist activities and called for stringent measures to eradicate these threats and restore safety to the nation.
