The Director General of Rahimia Institute of Quranic Sciences – Lahore, Mufti Shah Abdul Khalid Azad Raipuri has stated that freedom is the basic necessity of a human society. Justice is the fundamental right of every citizen. He has also said that the objective of all the messengers and prophets of Allah was to uphold the justice.
Mufti Shah Abdul Khaliq Azad Raipuri expressed this while addressing a seminar at Rawalpindi Arts Council. Azad said the sign of real development and progress would be to know the science of laying down the foundations of a society. Humanity demands justice without the discrimination of cast, creed, color or religion.
Azad, while addressing the audience at the seminar, stated that capitalism is the hurdle of economic growth and a particular religious mindset justifies it through greed-soaked decrees. He gave the example that when Prophet Mohammed was born the whole world was under the influence of an unjust system. Humanity was at the stake of poverty and barbaric actions of capitalists. Prophet Mohammed PBUH played an active role in the agreement of Hilful Fazul (a social agreement before Wahi) which was meant to provide due rights to those deserving. By this Prophet Mohammed PBUH had become known of someone who would console the oppressed. After the holy revelation Prophet Mohammed PBUH trained his companions against oppression.
Humanity got free from Abu Jehal’s oppressive system through the change brought by the Holy Prophet Mohammed PBUH, said Azad. He went further and said that it is the need of time that our youth must be enlightened on the principles of formulating a society in the light of the teaching of Holy Prophet PBUH.
