Sports in Pakistan joined hands with Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre (JPMC) to support the global Pinktober movement. The initiative aims to educate communities about early detection, screening, and treatment of breast cancer, emphasizing the importance of timely action to save lives. The event featured three categories: a 20k Ride, a 10k Run, and a 5k Walk, making it accessible to people from various backgrounds.

This inclusive format encouraged participation from a broad spectrum of society, allowing many to come together for a common cause. Chief Guest SharmilaFarooqui expressed her pride in being part of the movement, stating, “It is a matter of pride and joy for me to be a part of the Pinktober event, a powerful movement that unites us in the fight against breast cancer.

Today, we stand together to promote awareness, support survivors, and inspire hope. I commend Sports in Pakistan and JPMC for their tireless efforts in making a difference. Let us continue to empower women and communities through education, early detection, and unwavering solidarity.” ShoaibNizami, CEO of Sports in Pakistan, highlighted the importance of the cause, saying,

“We are committed to promoting breast cancer awareness and supporting research initiatives in Pakistan. Our partnership with JPMC reinforces our dedication to this noble cause, and we invite everyone to join us in making a difference.”
