Says Rs70b saved in three years to be spent on building roads, universities

Special Assistant to Chief Minister on Information Dr Firdous Ashiq Awan on Sunday said that effective steps are being taken for development and welfare of the fourth pillar (journalism) under the leadership of Prime Minister Imran Khan and vaccination of journalists has been started.

“Awareness regarding prevention of corona is not possible without the cooperation of media and paid tribute to the positive role of media.”

Talking to media persons after inaugurating Corona Vaccine Mobile Camp at District Council Hall Faisalabad, the SACM said that vaccine has been introduced for journalists across Punjab as it is very important for journalists to stay safe and healthy while performing their official duty.

She said that every worker is a witness of the situation of industry in Faisalabad four years ago. Hunger was created in the houses of millions of workers.

She said that when the workers are made prosperous then the country is prosperous.

Today, the industry in the whole of Punjab is in full swing. She said that there is no precedent for the relief given in the industrial sector.

Prime Minister Imran Khan is happy today for the country is moving towards prosperity. We have to work for the country for two more years.

She said that the Prime Minister and Chief Minister are the protectors of the people’s money. She said that every single penny is being spent on the welfare of the people.

She said the PTI government has saved Rs70 billion in three years which have been included in the budget. We will build roads and universities with this money.

She said that according to the vision of the Prime Minister we are heading towards Do Nahi Eik Pakistan.
We have made a joint budget for the development work of the entire province.

She said that a few politicians have fled to London after looting and plundering the national exchequer.

She said that the legitimate rights of the workers have been brought to their doorsteps and this government will serve in the people to every extent.

She said that the present government has given benefits to small scale industries and the new agricultural policy has ensured the rights of farmers through farmer cards.

She said that journalists, lawyers and workers would be vaccinated against corona in factories.

She said that change comes from the process which will move from government policy to lower level.

She also said that social media teams are being formed from every district to highlight the government’s policies.

Earlier, the SACM met with Male and Female Party Workers at circuit house Faisalabad and planted a sapling.

She visited Faisalabad Press Club and the University of Faisalabad as well.
