Jinnah University for Women to go solar: Nasir Shah

Provincial Energy Minister Syed NasirHussain Shah announced that Jinnah University for Women, Nazimabad, will transition to solar energy as part of the Sindh government’s initiative.

This announcement was made during the Independence Day ceremony at the university.

The ceremony, attended by Chancellor Vajihuddin Ahmed, Vice Chancellor DrNaeemurRehman, former Test cricketer Shoaib Muhammad, District Central Sports Officer HajiraNawab, and a large number of teachers and students, began with the recitation of the Holy Quran. NasirHussain Shah emphasized the significance of freedom and the sacrifices that led to the creation of Pakistan.

He urged the audience to remember occupied Kashmir and the oppressed Palestinian people on this important occasion. Shah also highlighted the collective responsibility to contribute to the country’s development.

The event featured a student presentation of a sketch depicting Pakistan’s history, which was well-received by the audience. Awards were distributed to students for their exceptional performance in various fields.
