JI holds protest against LG’s polls rigging

Jamaat-e-Islami held protests against the results of the local government elections in Karachi and Hyderabad, alleging that the results have been engineered.

JI activists held in protest against alleged rigging and stealing mandate of JI in LG election in front of Press Club Thatta on Tuesday.

The rally was taken out under the leadership of Jamaat-e-Islami Thatta’s leaders including Majeed Simon, Sarwar Baloch, Abdullah Gandro, Muhammad Ali Khattak and others.

The speakers said mandate of JI has been stolen through rigging by Sindh government but we say should remember that we will not let the feedback given by the people go in vain, he said that the people of Karachi have given historical feedback to Jamaat-e-Islami and the riggers have stolen it which the JI and people of Karachi will not let to go vain.
