AmrreJamaat-e-Islami (JI) Karachi Monem Zafar reiterated the party’s commitment to serving the city’s residents, stating that JI has fulfilled its promise to work beyond its mandate. He made these remarks while inaugurating two new parks in UC 8 of Jinnah Town. Addressing the media and local residents, Monem Zafar highlighted JI’s contributions over the past 11 months despite facing challenges from the Pakistan PPP and the lack of financial resources. “We made a promise to serve Karachiites beyond the mandate, and we have walked the talk,” Zafar said.
He detailed the party’s efforts, which included the restoration of 110 parks across 87 union councils (UCs) and nine towns, providing much-needed recreational spaces. Additionally, JI installed 38,000 streetlights and restored green belts, pavements, and sports complexes, creating healthier and safer environments in the city. JI leader was accompanied by Saifuddin Advocate, RizwanAbdulsami, Junaid Mukati, and other party officials during the park inauguration. Area residents also shared their positive experiences, praising JI’s transparent governance and developmental policies. Zafar emphasized that the party remains dedicated to improving Karachi’s infrastructure and enhancing quality of life for its citizens, regardless of the obstacles in its path.
