JI announces 3-day extension in referendum on Karachi rights

Amir Jamaat-e-Islami Karachi Hafiz Naeem-ur Rehman has announced that in view of great enthusiasm of the people in the “Karachi Referendum” and to include the opinion of the maximum population, the referendum period has been extended by 3 days.
He expressed these views while addressing the media and participants on the occasion of his visit to the Central Referendum Camp under Public Aid Committee Jamaat-e-Islami Karachi at Bahadurabad (Char Minar) Chowrangi in connection with the Karachi Referendum.
“We have requested the Chairman of the Commission Anwar Mansoor Khan and apprised him of the situation, on which he has issued a three-day extension notification after consultation with the members of the Referendum Commission.” Now it will continue till Wednesday, October 21.
He said that Only Jamaat-e-Islami is in the field for the people of Karachi. All other parties are cheating and deceiving. “If the PPP is sincere with the people of Karachi.
