LONDON – British filmmaker and former spouse of Imran Khan, Jemima Goldsmith, is reportedly preparing to start a new chapter in her personal life, with reports suggesting she may soon marry financier Cameron O’Reilly.
According to a report published by the Daily Mail, the couple has largely kept their relationship out of the public eye and is believed to split their time between O’Reilly’s residence in Switzerland and Goldsmith’s home in West London.
Sources quoted in the report said the two developed a friendship through professional interactions before their relationship turned romantic. Friends describe the pair as content together, noting that O’Reilly maintains a private lifestyle, which Goldsmith is keen to respect.
The report also stated that Goldsmith’s close family members, including her brother Robin Birley, are familiar with O’Reilly.
O’Reilly, an Oxford-educated businessman, previously worked within his family’s media business, Independent News & Media, before joining APN News & Media, where he served as chief executive until 2000. He later established his own investment venture and acquired a Swiss metering company.
Friends of Goldsmith believe the reported engagement signals a fresh phase in her life, particularly as both individuals share an interest in documentaries and filmmaking.
Goldsmith, daughter of late billionaire Sir James Goldsmith, was married to Khan until their divorce in 2004.
She has remained publicly supportive of her former husband and has been campaigning for his release, with whom she shares two sons.
