Blake, who is recovering from a US police shooting in August, denies his guilt and says he wants to “See my children quicker.” Jacob Blake, a Black recovering after being shot in the back by Wisconsin police officers earlier this year, had been facing charges of sexual assault prior to his shooting. Prosecutors decided to drop two of those charges on Friday in exchange for a guilty plea to lesser charges. Blake, 29, back in May was accused of one count of third-degree sexual assault and one count of criminal trespass, according to New York Times.
