IUB’s Mevlana exchange programme restored

The Mevlana exchange program between the Islamia University of Bahawalpur (IUB) and the universities of the Islamic brotherhood of Turkey has been restored. Under this program, the agreement between Selcuk University Konya and the Islamia University of Bahawalpur on mutual cooperation and collaboration in teaching and research was signed by Engr. Prof. Dr. Athar Mahboob, Vice Chancellor the Islamia University of Bahawalpur.

The agreement will come into effect after the signing of Selcuk University Konya Rector Prof. Dr. Metin Aksoy. Under this agreement, the teachers of the two universities will be able to visit each other for lecture series, while students will also be able to visit each other and continue teaching activities. According to the agreement, researchers can carry out their teaching activities in both universities. In this regard, they can participate in conferences and workshops as well as exchange research and teaching materials.

Both the universities will also make progress for joint research projects. Among the subjects in which teachers and students can benefit from the exchange program are Food Science.
