IUB strats Plant for Pakistan campaign

Plantation has started in the Islamia University of Bahawalpur under Plant for Pakistan campaign of Punjab government. Vice-Chancellor the Islamia University of Bahawalpur Prof. Dr. Naveed Akhtar started the plantation campaign by planting saplings in the Sabzazar of the Faculty of Agriculture. Under this campaign, 2000 fruit and shade trees will be planted in the Islamia University of Bahawalpur.

On this occasion, Dean Faculty of Agriculture and Environment Prof. Dr. Tanveer Hussain Turabi, Principal Officer Estate Care Dr. Muhammad Latif, faculty members and students planted saplings. The Vice-Chancellor said that the faculty members and students should actively participate in the plantation campaign and make the Punjab government’s Plant for Pakistan campaign a success. He said that spring is very suitable for planting campaign. Similarly, the initiation of this plantation drive on the occasion of World Forestry Day is a welcome thing. This plantation campaign should be extended to all campuses.
