Punjab University Academic Council meeting held under the chairmanship of Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Khalid Mahmood here on Tuesday was attended by Registrar Dr Ahmed Islam, deans of various faculties, heads of departments and professors. During the meeting, the policy regarding affiliated colleges proposed by the Higher Education Commission (HEC) of Pakistan was adopted.
According to the vision of the Vice-Chancellor, for the first time, approval was given to start a joint degree program of BS Agri-Business with the collaboration of two different departmentsi.e Faculty of Agricultural Sciences and Hailey College of Commerce. The Academic Council has also given permission to start several degree programs at the BS, MS and PhD levels.
