Prof DrAthar Mahboob, Vice Chancellor Islamia University of Bahawalpur visited Child Protection and Welfare Bureau (CPWB) Bahawalpur.
During his visit, the Vice Chancellor attended the ongoing Quranic lessons for the children in the institution and addressed the students.
He said that we should focus on our education and take full advantage of the facilities available from the government. One must prepare oneself to become an active member of society.
He said that Islamia University Bahawalpur would play a vital role for the development and welfare of the center and soon all the children would be given a tour of the university campus and students will be involved in the tree planting campaign.
He said that the Faculty of Veterinary and Animal Sciences would also create a beautiful bird garden for these children and painting training would also be imparted under the College of Art.
Naushaba Malik Incharge of the center while giving briefing said that at present more than 100 children are living in the center for which there is a complete system of food and education.
