Italian tourist group commends STDC hospitality

The Sindh Tourism Development Corporation (STDC) hosted a reception and meet up for a group of Italian tourists who recently completed a tour of various cities in Sindh, Pakistan. The group, led by Georgeo, shared their positive experiences during their visit, praising the culture, people, cuisine, accommodation, and transportation, along with the sense of safety they felt throughout their travels.

Managing Director of STDC Fayaz Ali Shah took the opportunity to highlight the corporation’s efforts in promoting and enhancing tourism in Sindh. He briefed the group on STDC’s initiatives and achievements in developing tourism infrastructure, organizing cultural events, and promoting local handicrafts and cuisine. Georgeo expressed his appreciation for STDC’s hospitality and the memorable experience his group had in Sindh.

He encouraged the corporation to continue its efforts in promoting tourism and making Sindh a more attractive destination for foreign visitors. In addition to sharing their overall experience, the tourists also provided valuable feedback to STDC, which will be used to further improve tourism services and amenities in Sindh.

Fayaz Ali Shah also invited the Italian group to visit a new hotel that is scheduled to open soon in Larkana, adding to the growing number of accommodation options available to tourists in Sindh. The meetup concluded with a positive exchange of ideas and a renewed commitment to strengthening tourism ties between Sindh and Italy.
